Dear New Friends and Fellow Orthodox Christian Artists, Thank you for visiting the temporary site of CoCreate.org, a fellowship of Orthodox Christian artists. We are excited that there are so many interested in CoCreate and so many talented people endeavoring to use their art to express their faith in diverse ways. We have spoken with musicians, graphic designers, composers, folk artists, painters, dancers, iconographers, poets, film makers and many others, all Orthodox Christians and all interested in exploring the relationship between faith and art and its modern expressions. CoCreate is STILL in an intense ramp-up phase. The hope is to have a dynamic website (still looking for someone to donate this work!), a membership packet and an online member resource and discussion forum all in 2007. This will be an exciting first step towards what is envisioned as a vital resource for personal and artistic growth in community. CoCreate is an idea that has been in the hearts and minds of so many Orthodox artists. Together in the coming year, God willing, we will see this dream realized! An advisory council of artists, non-profit specialists, theologians, and possibly even hierarchs is in formation now. We are taking our time and making sure that things are done with integrity and care from the start so that CoCreate will glorify God in all things and thus have lasting impact.
